Reform Isn’t Waiting – A Charity-Led Criminal Referral That Changes Everything

Published by Neurodivergent Rights Initiative

Today, the charity formally referred a criminal misconduct bundle to COPFS, 85 complaint entries documenting systemic failures across Police Scotland, now timestamped and made public.

This isn’t just one case. It’s a blueprint of what happens when silence is no longer an option. We acted because no one else did. We copied in every statutory body, as compartmental accountability is now mandatory.

The referral includes:

  • 📁 A serious unreported RIDDOR incident with criminal implications

  • ⚖️ Misuse of Regulation 9, acknowledged internally but left unrescinded

  • 🚨 Suppression of disability passport protections

  • 🧠 Obstruction of medically approved stress-reducing employment

Why this matters: Oversight bodies have responsibilities. When they fail to act, they don’t exit the narrative—they become the cover-up. That’s why our letter warns: silence will be documented, and public escalation will follow.

We do this not out of frustration, but out of purpose.

👉 No funding. No strings. 👉 No allegiance except to the truth. 👉 And no intention of stopping now.

If you're a victim, a whistleblower, or simply someone wondering if justice still has a foothold in Scotland, this charity is the voice. And we just turned the volume up.
